Tehran, March. 12 (SENA) - The financial conference which is set to be held next month in Tehran is believed to be an opportunity for the Iranian capital market to attract a broader audience.
The 10th International Exhibition of Exchange, Bank and Insurance is scheduled for April 15-18.
Saeed Eslami Bidgoli, secretary general of the Iranian Institutional Investors Association, told SENA earlier this week that FINEX 2017 will benefit both actual and potential investors as hundreds of experts will get together in the event and share their experience.
Organizers will have an opportunity to educate the public how to invest in stock markets, he noted, urging them to work hard to develop or customize a CRM system that can effectively connect customers with businesses in the financial market.
Iran’s financial market is just emerging after long years of crippling sanctions imposed by the West over a nuclear dispute. Iran hopes that it capital market can play a more significant role in financing development projects and help reduce government reliance on the struggling banking system.
Since the sanctions lifting, financial authorities have tried to ease market regulations and upgrade financial instruments to attract the attention of multinational investors. However, the stock market is still finding its legs, with officials keeping efforts to find solutions that would draw in investments.
